Jacob & Isaac make custom shoes. They wanted one film that felt raw and masculine, and showed that every pair is made for one person.

The challenge

'Custom made' is easy to say and hard to show. The brand wanted a raw, masculine look that makes people feel the effort that goes into every pair.

How we cracked it

• Planned the whole film inside the factory, with a model playing the craftsman.
• He picks out the materials himself and crafts the shoes, so 'made for you' is something you see.
• Kept him sweaty and hard at work: it shows dedication, and it looks good on camera.
• Dark, moody lighting and slow, close shots for a cinematic feel.

The result

One strong film that tells the brand's whole story: custom, handmade and masculine.
